Course Conditions

The Australian DogTrainers Academy operates through the Service & Hospitality Solutions Pty Ltd (trading as the Australian DogTrainers Academy - ABN 18 061 447 256), RTO 21775. Course leader, Hans van Heesbeen, is a Certified Obedience Dog Trainer, and practicing dog trainer, please see www.k9coach.com.au.

Hans, with Cert. IV Training and Assessment qualification, has extensive training experience, through the Service & Hospitality Solutions Pty Ltd (please visit www.shsol.com.au) and other training organisations.

A member and former secretary of the Australian Association of Professional Dog Trainers, Inc (please visit www.aapdt.org), a member of Association of Pet Dog Trainers (Australia), Inc (www.apdt.com.au), member of Pets Australia (www.petsaustralia.org) and a member of Association of Animal Behavior Professionals (please visit www.associationofanimalbehaviorprofessionals.com) Hans deals with canine related matters on a daily basis.

Payment methods accepted:

Money Order, Bank Cheque, or Personal Cheques (no less than 3 working days' clearance required) Cheques should be made payable to the Australian DogTrainers Academy - ABN 18 061 447 256, which once received course confirmation will be issued with all details and a receipt.

Payment also possible online through PayPal (MC, VISA only)

Change of Plans

Should you have to change your plans, one transfer of date for attending a publicly listed course without penalty will be accepted provided it is received no less than two weeks (14 days) prior to the scheduled start date.

If a course does not have the minimum student numbers required to run, we will either transfer your booking to another course/date, or refund all monies paid.

PAYMENT / FINANCIAL & HOUSE POLICY

Our registered training organisation´s code of practice asks for an advanced deposit of $100 to secure a place with no more than $999.00 prior to commencement of the course. The balance of fees should be settled on commencement day unless students enter the payment plan see details at www.dogtrainersacademy.com.au.

Any cancellations or requests for refund must be in writing and are handled within one week of receipt.  No refunds will be given in cash.  Financial Policy available on request

If a course fails to attract the minimum students required, we happily transfer you to another course/date, or refund all money paid.

In every good training environment, both trainer and trainees display mutual respect.  Students have the right to be trained professionally and to assure this  and because of the intensity of the learning process students need 100% attendance . Attending dogs need to be well socialized & vaccinated. Long trousers and closed shoes are required during practical sessions for safety reasons.

Liability Disclaimer:

Students will be solely responsible for all their actions and those of their dog whilst attending the course, and release the Australian DogTrainers Academy of any implied or possible liability during this time.
