The course demonstrated to me a completely different approach to dog training as I have never learned how to be a dog trainer coming from the person’s point of view (training the trainers). Understanding how important the right type of communication is, observations & assessments are vital The ADTA runs a fantastic facility. A comfortable learning environment, great catering and a very comprehensive program. The best part of the course is learning from a trainer that continuously demonstrates that his techniques work. In a way this course has helped me build up my confidence as I had to push myself to demonstrate in front of people several times. I found it a bit a struggle to learn so many things at once and be so fast paced, but at the same time I found the course extremely fun. Definitely a great way to spend my weekends. The small class is what I loved the most. Class mates were extremely helpful and supportive and we all had individual help and equal amount of attention. Heavy theory for the first 4 weeks but it was all worth it and put to use in the last 4 weeks. Plenty of opportunity to practise which helped build up my confidence. Overall the course had a lot of learning, but certainly through a fun way! SL RUV 0610
